DIY: Chocolate and orange leg wrap

Every 1-2 weeks, I use a body wrapping treatment to help exfoliate my shins. Body wrap treatments are available at your local salon or spa, but often, they come with a high price. Here’s my concoction made with orange and. Dark chocolate contains antioxidants, which will help draw toxins out of your skin. This wrap will leave your skin feeling moisturized and hydrated.

Dark, high-quality chocolate 70g
Honey (natural or organic preferred): 2 tbsp
Almond oil two tablespoons
One orange with a fine zest
Half an orange juice
Cling film
One large towel
Cheap large makeup brushes or spatulas

METHOD:
To begin, scrub your skin with body wash. This will remove all of your skin cells. This will help the mixture penetrate your skin more effectively. Could I suggest my refreshing lime and ginger body scrub?
The first time you apply this recipe, you may need to use a large towel.
Melt chocolate in a large bowl, then add orange juice. Add honey and almond oil.

Stir the mixture for a few minutes until it is at a comfortable temperature.
Use an old makeup brush or spatula to apply the mixture to your legs. (If applying there, you may need to ask someone to help you with the backs of your thighs,
Wrayou are p your legs with clear plastic wrap, clingfilm, or a sock. Pat down the legs and relax. Take deep breaths while you inhale that delicious chocolate smell!

Remove the plastic wrap and rinse it in the shower.
After drying your legs, apply natural Shea Butter for silky-soft legs.

TIP: To add an extra touch, put two towels in the dryer for 5 minutes and wrap them around your legs after you’ve applied the clingfilm. Heat will also allow the mixture to penetrate deeper into your skin.

It’s a great recipe to make with your friends for a girl’s night or if you want some time to yourself. I’d recommend trying this at least once a week, as well as moisturizing and exfoliating. You can make the mixture for your entire body by doubling the ingredients. In the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some non-chocolate wraps.
